Regular, annual support from alumni is an important part of CSU Dominguez Hills’ success. As a vital component of university philanthropy, the Annual Fund supports key priorities that advance the strategic mission of CSU Dominguez Hills. Top priorities include:
  • Scholarships for students
  • Unrestricted funds at the academic unit, college and university levels for areas of greatest need
  • Providing needed equipment, upgraded technology, improved classrooms, library books and more
  • Special projects such as development of a lab, upgraded Athletics facilities, Alumni Association membership drives

Towalame Austin (BS 2004), president of the Magic Johnson Foundation (MJF) may be based in an office in Beverly Hills, but she remains connected to the underserved communities that the Foundation serves nationwide.

As president of MJF, Austin leads the nonprofit’s commitment to the health, education and social needs of ethnically diverse urban communities.
